Psalms 19:7-11

7 aThe law of the Lord is perfect,
Or blameless

creviving the soul;
dthe testimony of the Lord is esure,
fmaking wise gthe simple;
8 hthe precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is ipure,
jenlightening the eyes;
9the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules
Or just decrees
of the Lord are ltrue,
and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than mgold,
even much nfine gold;
osweeter also than honey
and drippings of pthe honeycomb.
11Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
qin keeping them there is great reward.

Psalms 119:70-71

70their heart is unfeeling rlike fat,
but I sdelight in your law.
71It is tgood for me that I was afflicted,
that I might learn your statutes.

Psalms 119:92-93

92If your law had not been my udelight,
I would have perished in my affliction.
93I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have vgiven me life.

Psalms 119:99-103

99I have more understanding than all my teachers,
for wyour testimonies are my meditation.
100I understand more than xthe aged,
Or  the elders

for I zkeep your precepts.
101I aahold back my feet from every evil way,
in order to keep your word.
102I do not turn aside from your rules,
for you have taught me.
103How absweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Jeremiah 15:16

16Your words were found, acand I ate them,
and adyour words became to me a joy
and the delight of my heart,
aefor I am called by your name,
O Lord, God of hosts.

Romans 7:13

13Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.
